	Sir Mark Cavendish Raceway
The brief was to create a permanent tribute to the Isle of Man’s most successful sporting hero while delivering a lasting legacy for the community and visitors.

The project transformed the NSC cycle track into the ‘Sir Mark Cavendish Raceway,’ recognising where Sir Mark began cycling. The vision was to honour Cavendish’s extraordinary global career (165 professional wins including 35 Tour de France stages) while also inspiring a new generations of Manx riders by showing world-class success can start locally.

The idea behind the visual identity was to incorporate the Flamme Rouge (Cycling’s iconic final kilometre symbol) with Manx red, to create a distinctive Raceway identity.

The launch brought together schoolchildren, cycling clubs, government leaders, and Sir Mark for a commemorative lap and community ride-out.

The Raceway endures as a source of pride and recognition. It strengthens Manx sporting identity, connects community creativity with elite achievement, and provides the base for the Island’s largest youth cycling club — ensuring Sir Mark’s legacy inspires ambition for decades to come.

	43% of the children on the Isle of Man submitted their artwork to have a chance of adding their name to the raceway mural.

	I wanted the project to be as much about participation as commemoration. By creating a simple worksheet we engaged over 5,000 children and local clubs. 1,000 of children's drawn names where then used to create the design for the floor mural.&#38;nbsp; The&#38;nbsp;9.5m x 30m design was then added to the raceway using thermoplastic.

	Young Queens FC
I am supporting grassroots football and helping South London Girls Football Academy to launch their team Young Queens FC.
I worked closely with the team of 7-16 year old South London girls to design and sponsor their first official kit. The concept is rooted in the idea that a crown is created from many individual, polished and refined jewels, inspiring the team’s identity as the ‘Jewels of the South.’ 

  I created their crest and visual identity, but the hardest part of the job was to create a football shirt that teenage girls would be proud to wear. 	POLELE


I worked closely with Viya&#38;nbsp;Nsumbu the founder of POLELE, a new strategic communications agency to create a Brand Identity that would stay true to its name and the individuality of its owner.POLELE means clarity, clear and transparent in Lingala, one of the many languages spoken in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This reflects the essence of the work that Viya has been doing, formally and informally, over the past fifteen years. In an increasingly noisy world, clarity is rare. Yet it is the very thing leaders and organisations need most.
I brought the name to life using the concept of ‘Clarity on the Horizon’ which you can see woven through all of the outputs in the brand identity. 
Viya also wanted a brand identity that could speak to varying sectors – some of which are quite corporate. While staying true to her bold, colourful and energetic self. By incorporating POLELE’s take on a Yves Klein blue alongside the typeface Champ by the very talented Typeverything I think I might have cracked it.

	British Red Cross

I helped to launch a family charity subscription package called Little Heroes. By paying a monthly donation parents would recieve activities for their 3-7 years olds by post every few weeks. Everything was designed to teach children about kindness, patience, humour and gratitude.

The British Red Cross team had already developed the names and ideas for the project through a series of prototypes with&#38;nbsp;Good Innovation. I then helped to bring the project to life.

The key consideration was the four hero characters (Captain Kindness, Patience Pal, Gratitude Giant, and Funny Bunny). We partnered with Michael Arnold at GG Reps for the illustration, ensuring a diversity across their appearances and giving each their own primary colour. Each character was drawn in a number of poses, allowing us to use them all on print and web designs in various sizes and layouts.

These core assets were then combined in the design of a website landing page and the ‘Welcome Pack’ – which included a wall chart, large and small activity cards, and a 20-page-long story book.

	We Wear Heritage
This exhibition held at the Brent Civic Centre, brings together heritage, personal stories and offered a powerful perspective on the cultural traditions of Brent’s diverse communities.

I was first provided with photographs taken from a fashion show held at London Fashion, where 12 community organisations showcased their traditional garments and attire.

After editing 100's of photos I then curated designed and installed this photographic exhibition. As it's a public space that is heavily used on a daily basis I had to think about making as much impact as possible and to utilise as much space as possible while still admiring to the health and safety rules of the council.  

I also works with Róisín Henman-Kyle to make colouring sheets of some of the hero photos that where used during workshops held in the space.

Due to popularity the exhibition that was originally supposed to run for 6 weeks was extended to 3 months.

Briefs don’t get much better than ‘Design a logo that young people want to wear on a t-shirt’. Pete created this design in 2015 but is still going strong with over 1000 young members wearing the design at weekly workshops throughout London. The brand was given a lick of orange in 2023 to launch the Netherlands arm of this successful project.View Website ⟩

	The Show Windows
Pete worked with Coventry BID and curator Charlie Levine to develop the overarching brand. He produced design for print, motion graphics and site-specific artworking for the pop-up exhibitions by artists, designers, architects and makers for Coventry UK City of Culture 2021.The identity For The Show Windows was developed with Curious Ways with the font also being inspired by the L Frank Baum book. Each window got its own assets that revealed the windows / artworks in line with the reveal felt by those passing by the windows and moving around the city.Visual Identity

	Camden is...
I worked with the Leisure and Tourism department of Camden Council to create a campaign to promote all things Camden with the hope of winning the London Borough of Culture.I engaged in an on-going collaboration to help them develop a communication programme that showcased the area’s rich cultural heritage. Working to an extremely tight deadline of just one week, I created a name and full visual identity that could be rolled out across all communications for the campaign.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; 
	&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; “Pete is able to provide creative answers to difficult questions, and inspire the people and organisations he worka with.”

	As a direct result of our involvement in this project and the bid, Camden Council secured the Mayor of London’s Exemplar Cultural Impact Award (worth £250,000).

	One project in the bid was to design and produce a poetry book by Polarbear, celebrating Camden’s key cultural locations, and highlighting the keywords that locals use to describe these venues. This wonderfully open and collaborative project was co-created with the people of Camden – the council ran a number of workshops to explore how people felt about the borough. This beautifully produced book with  was then given back to the people of Camden, completing the circle – using literature to engage people with local culture, and local culture to engage people with literature.
