More about Pete
I'm Pete. A designer who listens more than I talk.
I take the ideas flying around your head and help shape them into something solid, something that works, lasts and feels right. Whether it's a brand identity, a crest for a community project, or visuals for a brave new startup, my focus is always the same: create honest design that serves people, not egos.
Over the past 20+ years, I've worked across sectors and cities, from the advertising world to community projects in Leeds to launching Pete&Co. I've started and closed studios, moved countries, cycled the length of Britain and become a Dad. These experiences, especially the personal losses in my 30’s, shaped how I work and who I work with.
Life's short. Design should make it better, not complicated.
I keep it simple. I help you make decisions. I make the complex manageable and the creative process feel calm, clear and collaborative. Great outcomes come from back-and-forth, not top-down.

Honest design work that doesn’t cost the earth
I like to talk about money up front; budget isn't a dirty word. I have to ask the right questions early:
- Can I make it work?
- Do I want to make it work?
- What does success look like?
- What's the team like that I will be working with?
The team matters. For me, chemistry, collaboration and creative output will always come before cash. Creative partnerships work best when the expectations are clear and everyone has visibility.
